A friend returns home.......missed by all

PAGE, Ariz. - Douglas D. Robinson, age 56, passed away May 29, 2008 in Page, Arizona. He was born April 3, 1952 in Cedar City, Utah to Clair "Tuffy" and Eleen Davenport Robinson. He grew up in Parowan, Utah, where he met his beautiful wife, Angie Koleen Dalton. They were married July 14, 1972 in Parowan, and later sealed on March 29, 1980 in the St. George Temple.
Doug developed a passion for the outdoors while growing up in Parowan. He loved being out in nature, riding his beloved horses and exploring new places. His passion for being on the back of a horse. He loved hunting, fishing and camping, and greatly enjoyed the socializing and swapping stories around the campfire. He loved spending time in Horse Valley. While he loved to hunt, he was always more concerned that others filled their tags and that everyone had fun than being successful himself.
Doug was the foundation of his family. He taught his children about hard work, honesty and loyalty. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had served as a scoutmaster for over 17 years, helping build great character in many young men. He had also served in the Primary with younger children. He had a great fondness for his own children and especially loved teasing and playing with his grandchildren. He was well respected by those who knew him, and touched many lives for the better over the years.
Survivors include his beautiful wife Angie Robinson of Page; children Amy (Ken) Arend of Winslow, AZ, Lance Robinson of Page, John (Candice) Robinson of Page, Jacob Robinson of Page, and Emily (Jon) Massey of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; mother Eleen Robinson of Parowan; siblings Nancy (Wayne) Rowley of Paragonah, UT, and Jerry (Sherry) Robinson, Kathy (Gene) Adams, Larry (Kristen) Robinson, Thomas (Lucille) Robinson and Sharron (Russell) Robinson all of Parowan; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Clair "Tuffy" Robinson.
